.....................................................................................................................................

Shortly after the elections  in Iran, thousands of people poured into the streets of Teheran and other  large cities. Their goal: revolution! At about the same time, countless  people in the United States also came together in public spaces in New York.  Their goal: fun!
Swarms form in the virtual world that take on gigantic  forms in public spaces. New communication technologies create new forms of  cooperation, and make possible a new public life in times when cities are  fragmented and everything is accelerated.

This four-part series of  lectures and debates of the Urbanauts invites four prominent theoreticians  and practicians of the new social revolution to take part in debates on  public spaces, virtual worlds, and swarm intelligence. The series  of Monday discussions is a contribution to the continuous debate on the  Urbanauts' project, and is part of the SPIELART Theater  Festival.
